Within hours or days after Donald Trump’s victory announcement, though there are  70 more days until the presidential inauguration, reality contradicts entirely the apocalyptic narrative of his political and media enemies.

DNC NY, Oct 2024

Of all the world’s ills attributed to him over the past nine years, the most absurd remain the accusations of him being a dictator like Hitler, a destroyer of women, freedom, peace, prosperity, and democracy. Absurd, because, as it happens, reality tells a different story. A few recent examples:

1. The “sexist” and “anti-feminist” Trump appoints Susie Wiles as future chief of staff. She thus becomes the first woman in U.S. history to hold this position.

Susie Wiles was the manager of Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.

Susie Wiles isn’t just anyone. She herself a winner by results – a smart, principled, and courageous woman who, like Trump, has successfully overcome many adversities and betrayals. At 67 years, she worked in her youth on Reagan’s campaign (1980) and has since become an exceptional political strategist.

Susie Wiles, like Trump, has been and remains an admirer of Ronald Reagan. Many hope (myself included) that Trump’s second term, in this formula, will be a version of Reagan’s political vision adapted to current realities. „Reagan 2.0,” headlined the New York Post yesterday…

2.In the days before the election, Big Media financial ‘experts’ were predicting a likely crash in U.S. capital markets if Trump won. After his victory, the stock market rose, and the U.S. dollar appreciated.

3.The latest caravan of illegal immigrants from Mexico stopped and began to disperse starting the day after Donald Trump’s victory was announced.

4. We were told that if Trump won, more wars and geopolitical disaster would await us, backed by the American “imperialism” and his „extremism”. Here’s what actually happened since Wednesday regarding the threats of military aggression and wars that were initiated or escalated during the Harris-Biden administration:

  • On Wednesday, November 6, immediately after the victory speech, China’s foreign affairs minister announced they hope for “peaceful coexistence.” This comes after four years of direct threats to the entire Indo-Pacific area and U.S. territory—not just Taiwan—with military ships and aircraft piling up (some of which repeatedly violated some state borders and international treaties).
  • Qatar (an old sponsor of Islamic terrorism) decided unilaterally (not at the Harris-Biden administration’s request) to expel Hamas leaders and temporarily withdraw from its role as mediator in the Gaza conflict.
  • Ukrainian leaders are already talking to Trump, while Putin, far from being feisty, now declares he is ready to talk to Washington … about what, do you think? War, or peace?
  • Taliban leaders declare they want to open “a new chapter” in their relationship with the U.S.

All this reminds me of Ronald Reagan, the doctrine Peace through Strength, and the U.S. embassy hostage crisis in Tehran, about which I wrote here (2016) and here (2018). For those who missed this piece of history:

Starting on February 14, 1979, for 444 days, the impotent (left-wing, Democrat) Carter administration was unable to free the Americans hold hostages at Tehran. The American hostage crisis and their release by the Iranian regime occurred on January 20, 1981, within hours after Ronald Reagan took office.

444 days versus a few hours. Why? Because the “sheriff” in Washington had changed, and the Iranian Islamic revolutionaries knew they could no longer mock America with impunity.

The same thing happened with the Russians, other traditional international predators that Ronald Reagan and his policies ultimately brought to their knees WITHOUT WAR, dismantling the USSR and finally liberating us from the Soviet communist camp…

“… if history teaches anything, it teaches that simpleminded appeasement or wishful thinking about our adversaries is folly. It means the betrayal of our past, the squandering of our freedom.”– Ronald Reagan, Evil Empire speech, 1983

Trump popular vote 2024

The only ones who never learn anything good, ever, from the lessons of reality, history, and their own resounding failures remain the Left’s politicians, media, and intellectuals everywhere, including too many among us who have  assumed false “Christian” or “right-wing” identities.

Perhaps you and your children will learn better. In this regard, we’ll talk in the next episodes about what actually happened and is happening in America, about Trump’s plan to restore American freedom, prosperity, and constitutional democracy against the political Left and the oligarchy currently controlling America’s wealth and institutions.

Meanwhile, a reminder: Ronald Reagan was shot too in 1981, but he survived the assassination attempt to Make America Great Again, and the  world better and more FREE for decades.
